We are excited about the return of our Week of Hope in 2021!
There will be so many great things taking place during the week of July 19-24. This is a fantastic time to reach out to our neighbors and friends with the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ. Listed below are all the different ways you can get involved:
Monday, July 19 – Join up with a canvassing team to invite people from the community to our block parties. You will be walking house to house and hanging invites on people’s door knobs.
Tuesday, July 20 – Canvassing in the morning, block parties in the evening. We will have simultaneous block parties at 40th Street park and Mt. Ogden Park. We’ll be serving free hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, and sno-cones, and will have activities galore for those in attendance. This is a great time to show up and either help serve food or run activity station, or just walk around and talk with people who show up for the fun. We need all this help with this that we can get!
Wednesday, July 21 – Join us for an evening of worship at 7 pm. There will be a time of singing and a challenging message from Pastor Bobby Wood.
Thursday, July 22 – Canvassing in the morning, block parties in the evening. We will again be hosting two simultaneous block parties, this time at 40th Street Park and at Good Foundations Academy in Riverdale.
Friday, July 23 – Join us for an evening of worship at 7 pm. There will be a time of singing and a challenging message from Pastor Tim Lewis.
Saturday, July 24 – We will have a float in the Pioneer Day Parade and will need people to walk or ride on the float and help pass out fans with our church information on them. We will also have a group passing out free water bottles along the parade route.
